I'm so happy! On the 10 of September i will go on a business travel to Macau, China and Hong Kong. The first week i will stay between Macau and South of China, to make business. After that i wil be on my own in Hong Kong for 4 days.... OUCH! My stomach is hurting.. a lot! I opened my own company with two more partners in July. We make the interface between Portugal and oriental countries. It will be my first time in Asia and i'm thrilled!

Às voltas com a dificuldade em seguir as gerações da família Buendía em "Cem Anos de Solidão" e começando a pensar que me vai levar aí uns 100 anos a ler, decidi colocar este em standby e virar-me para os "Brandómanos" Paulo Rocha e Carlos Coelho, criadores da Ivity Brand Corp. Os "gajos" sabem do que falam. Já assisti a um workshop em que o Carlos Coelho me deixou encantada com as suas noções de Marketing, Marcas e Negócios e já nessa altura fiquei com uma vontade enorme de conversar com aquele senhor, mesmo sabendo que seria um monólogo: Ele falava, eu ouvia! No máximo iria usar a minha simpatia e dentes branquinhos para "cativar" a atenção. Poderia também mostrar que me empenho em saber e que até sigo o Seth Godin ou o Guy Kawasaki, mas certamente em duas frases ele iria deixar-me: "Bang, Bang! You're dead!"
Gostam da menina do gás? Pois é, a marca Pluma foi criada por estes senhores. Congrats! You rock! Now what? Do you have a open day at your office? Kick Ass relata a vida de um jovem americano apaixonado por banda desenhada que um dia decide ser um super herói. Depois de questionar "porque é que ninguém se lembrou de ser um super herói?", encomenda um fato verde e amarelo pela internet e resolve bater as ruas da cidade a combater o crime. Mas rapidamente o nosso herói vai perceber que é uma vida difícil e dolorosa! Entretanto vira um fenómeno na televisão e na internet e torna-se um alvo dos mestres do crime organizado. Por sorte, não é o único super herói da cidade e recebe rapidamente a ajuda da dupla Big Daddy e Hit Girl. Adorei a personagem da Hit Girl pela sua agilidade e destreza. Fundamentalmente Kick Ass é um filme cómico.

O Pedrinho aka Electropta fez anos ontem e assim a modos de agradecer aos seus amigos facebookianos pela gentileza de lhe terem concedido 7.33 segundos do seu tempo a escrever um "Parabéns! This track reminds me few years ago... my 24th anniversary and the choices I made back then. Will have been worthwhile? Options are options and are never right or wrong. Options are the decisions that we feel as the best given the circumstances of the time. But what i can evaluate are the reasons why i choose the path. I recognize now that I've spent most of my time trying to improve who I am instead of enjoying what I am and devoting more time to self - appreciattion. Cem Anos de Solidão, o livro que ocupa a minha mesa de cabeceira no momento. Ainda é cedo para uma opinião relevante sobre o livro, porque iniciei-o apenas há duas noites atrás, depois de reler pela "não-sei-quantas-vezes", a Ode à vida espiritual que é o Siddhartha de Hermann Hesse. Ainda assim, em Cem anos de Solidão, a magia, a fantasia, o mundo fantástico repleto de personagens com características ao mesmo tempo estranhas e fenomenais, está a ter em mim um impacto muito positivo. Talvez porque as expectativas não são nem grandes nem diminutas. Simplesmente iniciei a leitura.

Trabalho, compromisso, dedicação, objectivos, satisfação. O nervosinho no estômago que nos faz sentir que estamos vivos, que somos seres humanos, que temos um papel a cumprir e que afinal esta viagem vale a pena. Com todas as suas contradições, dificuldades, mas ainda assim, simplicidade. Pela diferença que podemos fazer na vida dos outros e na nossa se tivermos abertura suficiente para que tal aconteça.

Recently i've moved to another house. New room, an infinity of ideas! I'm thinking to put all the furniture in white. I think that a white room can bring a lot of peace and confort. And confort it's an essencial to me! One of the reasons i'm thinking about a white room is that i can put a lot of color. After peace and confort, joy is the word that i want in my life.

1. Take a model course. why: Because i think that all women should do it. Because it gives us the chance to bring out the best in us and train the posture and body language .... ooohhh ... and learn how to be always good in pictures! Very important! Moreover, I want to be an old lady and show photos to my children and grandchildren, for them to see the youth that I had one day ;)

2. Travel to Georgia: why: ... I know, I know ... it's not that destination that everyone has in mind one day to visit ... but .. I have there a very special person. True Friend! Someone that one day told me:
"Maria when i met you i knew that you were like me... Someone that just has love in the eyes!" Well, when you are 3600km away from everything and everyone that you love and you do live your life with an intensity that's hard to explain... these kind of things really matter! ;)

3. Lead "Título Original" to another level. Turn it into a Consulting in Communication company. And you know what ... I have three projects for 2011 already.

4. Continue with the life that I have. I'm where I want and I want to keep it! Yes, I love it! I love my friends, those whom are far away and those around ... I love the children of my friends ... I love Rodrigo, i love Luna, I love to love the music that i love :) I love smiles and dancing ... I love to see the results when I committed at work ... I love to make them give me congratulations and recognize that i make a difference ... now i'm going to cry ... :)

Wherever you are, you could celebrate Thanksgiving today.

Not the Thanksgiving of a bountiful harvest before the long winter, the holiday of pilgrims and pie. That's a holiday of scarcity averted. I'm imagining something else...

A modern Thanksgiving would celebrate two things:

The people in our lives who give us the support and love we need to make a difference, and...

The opportunity to build something bigger than ourselves, something worth contributing. The ability to make connections, to lend a hand, to invent and create.

There are more of both now than there have ever been before. For me, for you, for just about all of us.
